Summer Band Extravaganza

Greetings Forney ISD Middle School Band Parents and Students!

We hope you are enjoying an amazing summer with plenty of time to rest and recharge! Your directors have been working hard to make preparations for the new school year and are so excited to see you again!

As Forney ISD continues to grow, we would like to offer an easy transition for intermediate musicians entering middle school band, as well as students who are switching to new campuses next year. Starting August 9-13, 2021, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Brown, Jackson, and Warren Middle Schools will be hosting a combined Forney Summer Band Extravaganza to prepare our students for the year’s early performances! Incoming 7th and 8th grade students will meet at North Forney High School to review fundamentals, learn pep-rally music, meet your teachers, meet private lesson instructors, and have a chance to make music with their friends again! At the end of the week, the students will perform a combined concert, showcasing the week’s efforts! We will conclude the festivities with some awesome games, food, and activities you won’t want to miss!

Each student will receive a Forney Summer Band Extravaganza T-shirt with the completion of their registration form. There is no charge for this event! Make sure to fill out the information by Monday, July 26, 2021, so your shirt order can be made!

This year is going to be amazing and we are thrilled to have you be a part of it! We will see you soon!
